IV. International Camp

31^st July - 8^th August, in the Czech Republic

After successful camps at Křížlice (2007) and Vižňov (2008 & 2009), we will again offer a participation in an international camp, where you may meet new friends and see their different views of our common world.

29^th-30^th July - Arrival of the participants and Prague sightseeing
31^st July - Moving to the camp place in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm
31^st July - 7^th August - Camp in Astra facility (http://www.astrafren.cz/...)
7^th August - Moving to Louny and having a farewell party by the camp-fire
8^th August - Sightseeing in Louny and Asta la Vista :-)

What can you look forward to?

meeting with foreigners from different countries and a chance to get to know them
guests sharing their opinions about other cultures and our common world
a variety of movies, which are followed with further discussions
an opportunity to make new friend while...
...taking a trip in a beautiful nature of the Czech Republic

What we require from you:

to be 15 years of age or older
ability to speak English
participation fee 1000 CZK
but mostly an open personality and respect for people from other nations who may have different opinions

To apply, please send an application to milan.ua(a)seznam.cz and pay the fee 1000 CZK (includes accommodation, meals, programme and excursions). Cancellation fee is 100% after 23^rd May. Transport to Frenštát pod Radhoštěm (where we will stay) and back is payed extra by each participant himself or herself. A voluntary common (and therefore "cheaper") departure will be organized. More details will be send to participants by e-mail.

Method of payment

You can pay directly to Milan Balahura in cash or you can send money to the account of the Evangelical Church in Louny. If you do it the second way then please write following data:

Visa

Obtaining a visa may take several weeks. If you need visa to participate, please make sure that you know what is required to obtain a visa in your country and make sure to meet the deadline for applications.

What to bring with you (among others):

sleeping-bag!
sports clothes, shoes for hiking and sport
slippers (= house shoes)
raincoat, umbrella, (eventually also a hat, sunglasses and UV-creme for hiking and sunbathing during hot afternoon)
a few sheets of paper and something to write with
(musical instruments, sheets of your favourite music)
torch (= flashlight)
backpack (for hiking)
mobile phone (if you have one)
swimsuit, warm clothes (for cold evenings)
anything in English we might use (songs, meditations, games etc.)
